THIS POST IS FULL TIME (37.5) HOURS PER WEEK
The Stockport Health Visiting service are looking for experienced and enthusiastic early years workers to come and join our Start Well team in Stockport. If you are looking for a new challenge we have an opportunity to offer a post working in our integrated health and local authority team within Stockport Family.
You will be knowledgeable about child development and have a passion for working with children and families. You will be able to work well in a team but also to organise your own workload under the supervision of named health visitors.
Ideally you will have experience in ASQ 3 and ASQSE and Welcomm assessment or be willing to train in these. You will be comfortable working in a variety of settings including homes and clinics.

- The post holder will work as an integral member of the Stockport Family Service to promote the health, learning and development of children through a variety of interventions and strategies delivered in the home and community settings such as Start Well Hubs, Satellite Hubs , Health Centres and Nurseries.
- The post holder will work with partners to ensure that services are coordinated and that groups/activities provided will meet the needs of children under five and their families.
If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £41.50. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary
In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13.
