Job description
Brightstars Nursery are looking for individuals who have an interest in, or experience working in a caring environment, to support our team to provide exceptional care for our children.
For those who are not experienced working with children, full training and mentoring by our highly experienced staff will be provided.
This role is on a casual basis, therefore you can dictate what days and hours you are available to work. We are open from 8.30am-5.30pm Monday-Friday, so would like people who can work between those hours.
The role would entail the following:
- work alongside the child's Key Person to get to know the child and their areas of development
- form trusting and caring relationships with the children and their parents
- carry out strategic activities with the child that have been planned by the Key Person
- support the Key People in the daily routines, which include supporting staff with cleaning up, or children with their toileting, eating and sleeping routines.
- on occasion, provide 1:1 care for children with special educational needs, or provide cover for the child's key person so they can have 1:1 time with the child

Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
