Early Years Consultant needed with West Sussex County Council

StartDate- ASAP

Location - Hybrid working, required to attend Chichester for engagement events

Duration - 12 - 15 days required July to September

Salary - £550 -£600 ltd per day Outside IR35

Description:

• West Sussex are seeking a short-term strategic consultant to lead the facilitation and scaffolding of an Early Years Strategy that covers all aspects of early years provision and the role of strategic partners in delivering the strategy.
• The Early Years Consultant will work with the Programme Manager to identify strategic partners, individuals within the team and service area representatives, alongside our Early Years team and organise an appropriate number of meetings to engage the appropriate service teams and partners to contribute to a draft Early Years Strategy and action plans.
• Plan and engage our senior Early Years staff in shaping the structure of the Engagement and Workshop Events, providing leadership to them in fulfilling a role in working with partners and officers in shaping the detail of the Strategy through facilitating and leading a co-creation approach

What is required?

• Experience in Early Years education, childcare and working with strategic partners in Health and Social Care
• Experience of leading a cross department and partership Early Years Service
• Leading strategy and transformation within the sector
