Work location: Abingdon Children and Family Centre, Abingdon

Hours per week: 37 - we are open to discussions about flexible working

Contract type: Permanent

Vetting requirements: This role is subject to a criminal records check

The Family Solutions Service in Abingdon are seeking to recruit an Early Help Practitioner to join their Early Help Team


About us and the role


This role will include completing Early Help Assessments and Early Help case management involving direct work with children, young people and their families providing timely support and interventions to address safeguarding concerns and reduce risks to children and young people. This includes leading Team Around the Family meetings and delivering a range of evidence-based group programmes to children, young people and families who meet the threshold for the service.


About you


To be successful in this role, you will be an enthusiastic worker who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.


The ability to travel across the Vale of White Horse area is also essential.
