The Early Careers Advisor role is within our Cavendish Nuclear business.

The role
The difference our new Early Careers Advisor will make
As an Early Careers Advisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll work in partnership with the Group Early Careers team to ensure that the Early Careers Programme brings in the correct mix of new talent into the organisation at Cavendish Nuclear, with involvement in leading other initiative, e.g. STEM engagement.
Day to day, you’ll ensure the early careers programmes placements deliver the required output to meet both business and individual needs, monitor and report performance across the graduate, undergraduate and apprentice communities and build strong relationships/work with key stakeholders and external organisations to develop the early careers programmes. You’ll also work in partnership with the local training providers and colleges our apprentices attend as well as work with the Early Careers Team to share knowledge and best practice.

We offer flexible working to give people more options to better integrate their work and personal life, whilst ensuring that business needs are met. This role provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office/onsite and 2 days working from home. If you are applying for the role at our Warrington site, you must be able and willing to travel to Cumbria once a week.
Essential experience
- Good knowledge of early careers development and recruitment practices including experience in identifying the most effective methods
- Develop and retain talent and shaping bespoke programmes to meet both business and individual needs with an understanding of how apprenticeship standards are structured
- Able to ensure that company policies, procedures and processes are developed, reviewed, updated and implemented as required
- Strong communicator with excellent negotiation skills and an ability to use initiative, as well as possessing excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Educated to A Level Standard or equivalent (level 3 of the national qualification framework) and GCSE level English & Maths (or equivalent)
