JOB ROLE
You will be expected to service both MOD, Chronograph and ETA movements. You must have a proven track record of working at the bench with luxury and ideally complicated watches, ideally with the likes of Rolex, Omega, Patek plus many other luxury watch brands. As part of the application process, these skills will be assessed. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Watchmaker who is looking to gain exposure to multiple brands and models and work on some interesting timepieces. You will be proficient in quick learning and be career-driven.
KEY TASKS:
- Identifying ways to improve processes to improve sales, brand loyalty, and customer service experience
- You will diagnose, service and repair watches, in line with the brand-specific guidelines
- Complete servicing of all brand models including mechanical, quartz, ETA based and Modular Chronograph movements.
- Test timepieces for accuracy and performance, using specific tools and equipment
- Visually checking all in-coming components (dials, cases, hands, crystals, movements etc.) for damage, marks, and scratches to ensure that they meet the agreed specification and report any quality issues
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
- You have experience in servicing and purchasing of luxury Swiss watches.
- Self-motivated with the ability to exceed sales target
- Strong ability to develop long term relationships with watch manufacturer and customers.
- Ideally having some accreditations from major Watch Brands
- Have experience working on MOD movements
- You are a graduate of a watchmaker programme with either BHI, WOSTEP or comparable
IF YOU ARE A UNIVERSITY GRADUATE:
- Training is offered for university graduates (a business diploma would be advantageous)
- You must have a business or marketing diploma
- Graduate salary: £35,000 with grades 2:1 or above. Bonus scheme, with a definite yearly bonus
Salary: Salary based on skills and experience. Bonus scheme, with a definite 6-month bonus (every June and December)
Must wear formal office attire (uniform allowance £500 per year)
Personal phones must not be used for any purpose during working hours, only allowed to be used during lunchtime (no snacking during the working hours)
Working Hours Shifts: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:30 – 5:30), 1-hour lunch break
Holidays: 20 days a year plus bank holidays

Salary: £40,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
