Our growing company is currently seeking a E-Commerce Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking sales, managing inventory and making sure that all customer orders are processed quickly. We're looking for a talented individual who has experience with some aspect of e-commerce and can comfortably multi-task and keep an eye on the competition. You will have a proven track record of growing online retail businesses. Experience in retail and fashion is highly desirable but not essential. You will report directly to the Head of E-commerce.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, in this role you’ll play an integral part in planning and implementing the eCommerce strategy across our international e-commerce websites.
Working cross-functionally across the business to support and deliver continued growth, you'll collaborate with various internal teams. This will include working on new outlines with the marketing team and communicating with the operations team to ensure that stock is reflected correctly on the website.
You’ll develop and improve upon the onsite shopping experience for our customers, maximising online conversions and placing customer service at the heart of everything you do. You’ll also carry out detailed analysis for online sales and promotions and provide insights as needed. You will carry out regular updates to the website including home page edits, new product set up, category merchandising, navigation updates and landing pages. You will support the optimisation of our organic search strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Admin/ecommerce/channel reporting
- Product uploads to the Shopify platform
- Switching imagery to update flows
- Refreshing the site in terms of content/promotions
- Creating collections
- Link checking on site
- Daily and weekly site audits
- Checking payment vendors are operational
- Testing checkouts
- Flow triggers
- Email sign up
- Full collection audits and ownership of sitemap
- Filter audits
- Discount code/promo creation
- Post product listing inspection
- Variation linking
- Publishing article to the blogs
- Undertaking regression testing and running automated scripts / reporting
- Particular focus on auditing the websites and checking collection and owning the process of checking the products after they’ve been listed.
Requirements
- A passion for e-commerce
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Confidence to work independently and be a self-starter.
- Driven and results orientated.
