Terry de Gunzburg is an industry legend who, over the course of the past 30 years, has been changing the face of beauty through the invention of countless products and formulas, including the iconic Baume de Rose lip balm. Today, BY TERRY offers customers revolutionary foundations, innovative mascaras and long-lasting lipstick formulas, as well as a 'couture' beauty line of bespoke cosmetics.
This position will lead and grow our online sales channels. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the ecommerce roadmap, driving online revenue and profitability, and optimizing the customer experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and operations to ensure that our ecommerce business is aligned with our overall business goals.
This role requires a variety of skills, from a high degree of business acumen to strong and wide-reaching technical competence, with good organizational skills, and outstanding people skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the revenue, expenses, and profitability of our online business.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive ecommerce strategy to drive revenue growth and profitability, aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the ecommerce platform, including site updates, promotions, and customer service.
- Build and lead a high-performing ecommerce team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Function as the primary point of contact, primary administrator, and internal expert on our ecommerce strategy and systems.
- Optimize the customer journey and user experience to improve conversion rates, average order value, and customer lifetime value.
- Manage relationships with third-party marketplaces and pure players to ensure smooth operation of the ecommerce business.
- Integrate and reinforce data-driven decision making.
Required Skills
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience using data to drive business decisions.
- Proven record of accomplishment of driving online revenue and profitability.
- Hands on experience with web analytics and with tools such as GA4, MOZ Pro, SEMRush, etc
- Experience with Shopify Plus and Amazon Sellers.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in ecommerce, preferably in a senior leadership role.
- Thorough understanding of retail business practices and principles
- Extensive knowledge of SEO (technical, on and off page), SEM, Google and Meta marketing platforms.
- Proven leadership of large eCommerce projects, including replatform experience

Salary: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
