About the Team
The Data Science team is a global, full-stack data team that plays an important role in empowering and driving the growth of TikTok Shop. Through impactful data insights and data products, the team focuses on areas such as metrics development, product, operation, algorithm improvement, data infrastructure, and data product development. The team enables informed decision-making and helps optimize the performance and effectiveness of TikTok Shop
As a data analyst focusing on user growth efforts, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with a variety of teams within the commerce business, including product, operation, marketing, and other teams. You will be able to leverage your data analytical expertise and strong business acumen to accelerate the growth of commerce business in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end quantitative analysis including metrics design, model development, data analysis, and dashboard building;
- Design and analyze AB experiments to optimize the efficiency and ROI to constantly improve long-term customer value and ensure sustainable growth of the business;
- Understand the commerce industry landscape in UK, providing actionable insights to help achieve the growth of both business results and user scale.
- Work with our promotions team to optimise acquisition of new users
- Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in statistics or data science is preferred;
- Proficiency in SQL/Excel. Familiar with common statistical methods and applications (A/B testing, probability, regression) would be an advantage;
- At least 2 years of working experience in an analytical role involving e-commerce/user growth/product optimization/business analytics/performance marketing;
- Able to communicate with global staff independently in a diverse and cross-functional environment;
- Self-driven, ability to learn new information quickly and adapt into dynamic ways of working
