As the UK’s leading pub, cider and beer business, we’re home to some of the world’s best-loved ciders and beers, and a leading player in the international drinks industry. But there’s so much more to HEINEKEN than meets the eye.

Right now, we’re looking for an E-Commerce Customer Manager to join our Off Trade Function!

“I’m looking for a motivated individual to help shape the future! This role offers scope for creativity as well as being very much about relationship-building & executing eCommerce plans. As a team we don’t like sitting still, so be prepared to get stuck in, with plenty of fun along the way!” , Nicola, hiring manager

The Role

Ecommerce is a fast moving channel in HUK which has seen constant and significant change and advancements as well as growth in recent times. Requiring a strong empathetic customer focus, this is a great opportunity for an ecommerce (online B2B and B2C) champion to bring in new ideas and support our sales ambitions in one of the fastest evolving channels in the business.

Reporting into Nicola, our Head of Digital Commerce, the Ecommerce Customer Manager sits within the grocery and wholesale function and is required to deliver budget volume, net sales revenue and market share for HUK in key Online Grocery customers. This role has the primary responsibility for the online trading relationships and will definitely use your excellent relationship building skills to build alliances with key buying & marketing contacts within some of the UK’s biggest retailers.

The Candidate

We’re looking for someone with strong digital sales or marketing experience to work with our customers, using our brand activations and category insight to help them grow their beer and cider categories online.

If you have;

  • Retail FMCG e-commerce experience
  • Have excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to challenge historic ways of working and bring in fresh ideas.

Then this could be the role for you!

We embrace learning and growth, and we anticipate there is scope to develop in this role. You are also likely to bring experiences that enhance this role that are not listed above, therefore not every box needs to be ticked when it comes to experience or skill sets.

Life at HEINEKEN

We’re building a future that embraces innovation, sustainability, diversity and, of course, the opportunity for our 2,400 UK colleagues to make the most of their careers.

We encourage all our colleagues to grow and reach their full potential. We’re also well-aware that successful careers seldom run in a straight line, so if you’re in search of fresh opportunities (including global or cross-functional moves), mentoring or simply want to pick up a new skill, you’ll have access to all the support you need.

Caring for people & the planet is one of our core values and we understand that each of our colleagues’ needs and circumstances are different. This is why we have a smarter working policy in place which includes access to hybrid working, flexible start and finish times and condensed hours, to name a few.

Our colleagues love life at HEINEKEN, and we’re confident you’ll feel the same way – but don’t take our word for it. Search the #LifeAtHEINEKENUK hashtag on LinkedIn to hear from our colleagues about what makes HEINEKEN such a special business to be a part of.

The application

If you like what you’ve read and want to explore this opportunity further, please apply as soon as possible.

Please note, we may close vacancies early where we receive significant numbers of applications, so don’t delay!

If you need any adjustments made to support your application, for example if you require information in different formats, or if you have any accessibility issues, then we’re more than happy to review our processes – please feel free to get in touch with us as [email protected].

In all likelihood the ideal candidate for this role won’t meet every single requirement in this advert, in fact we all need the opportunity to grow and develop in role. We understand some applicants are less likely to apply to jobs unless they feel they meet every single qualification. The team at HEINEKEN would encourage you to submit an application if the advert has peaked your interest rather than ruling yourself out based on any self-limiting beliefs. You never know, you may be exactly what we’re looking for!
