Job description
As our Electric Mountain Bike Presenter, you'll be responsible for researching, scripting and presenting YouTube content for broadcast on EMBN. You’ll collaborate with a team to plan content and contribute to the long term planning for the channel.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, script and present videos based on the programming schedule
- Research and planning for content ideas with the commercial and editorial teams
- Scriptwriting, voiceovers and presenting for EMBN content
- Manage your social media profiles
- Analyse data to establish what the trends are and where the channel should be headed with its content
- A huge passion for electric MTBs and bike tech and a knowledge of what the current trends are in the MTB market
- Experience in the pro MTB world, qualified mechanic or engineer, ideally having worked for a pro MTB team or bike manufacturer or an ex-pro athlete or Ebike Tech journalist
- Ability to write quickly, accurately and concisely for scripting and research purposes. A high level of written and spoken English is required
- Able to prioritise projects and complete them with efficiency and accuracy
- Writing skills - you’ll be helping to script and write content, you’ll need good spelling and grammar
- Attention to detail - you’ll be making sure that our videos and content are accurate and of a high standard
- Online community management - you’ll be interacting with your audiences so will need to have a positive approach to dealing within online comments and feedback
- Communication - you’ll be working closely with video creators and fellow presenters, as well as the wider Play Sports Network community, so you’ll need to be a good communicator
