We are in a period of ambitious growth and are looking for a performance-focused Creative Strategist to help grow our ecommerce business through creative test and learn.

The role…

You are a creative strategist with a passion for creativity that drives performance. Combining strong creativity with an analytical mind, you will play a key role in helping grow our ecommerce business through delivery of high-performing digital creative. You will help define a creative testing roadmap to fuel our performance marketing, as well as building a smooth process that enables rapid ideation, testing and iteration.

Responsibilities will include…

  • Define and execute a creative strategy for our performance creative (paid social), that helps us grow our DTC business, through an ongoing process of test and learn.
  • Build a creative testing roadmap that brings structure to our test and learn approach.
  • Oversee production of performance creative assets (ads, landing pages, video creative) from briefing through to final sign-off, ensuring we maintain a good velocity of delivery.
  • Conduct ongoing competitor research, diving deep into Facebook Ad Libraries, TikTok trends, customer reviews, and performance data to inspire creative briefs.
  • Identify targeting personas, create direct response copy that speaks to their pain points - craft hooks and CTAs to capture attention, build engagement and drive conversion.
  • Ownership of creative process, briefing internal design teams and external content creators to deliver full-funnel creative concepts for testing, from ads through to landing pages.
  • Define a tight set of KPIs to evaluate creative performance across various channels.
  • Work closely with Performance Marketing team to deliver the creative testing roadmap - iterate based on campaign performance.
  • Translate lessons and insights from creative tests into action plans.
  • Run weekly creative planning meetings to share results with wider team and plan next steps.

You will have…

  • Proven track record as a paid social creative specialist, delivering successful creative content geared towards eCommerce KPIs (CTR, CVR, ROAS and CAC) for a DTC business
  • Passion for social-media - up-to-speed with the latest trends - and how social creative can deliver DTC business growth
  • Experienced in paid social analysis and has experience implementing a test-and-learn approach to creative design across ads and landing pages
  • Highly creative - yet analytical and curious - able to generate new ideas and iterate on existing concepts based on data
  • A good understanding of consumer psychology - able to research and identify target personas, and then create full-funnel (ads and landing pages) creative tests to drive revenue
  • Experienced in briefing designers and content creators - able to translate performance data and audience research into clear creative briefs and scripts for video / UGC
  • A natural copywriter, with expertise in crafting hooks and writing copy that converts
  • Highly collaborative - able to bring together designers, content creators and performance marketers to deliver growth through performance creative
  • Excellent attention to detail, a natural problem solver and adept and driving projects through to completion
