life assistance, respite care and dementia care.

If you can demonstrate experience and professional skills of working to a high care and

support standard that enables a care service to meet or exceed the CQC standards, then

Working as a Drop-in Home Carer:

Working as a Drop-in Home Carer can see you supporting your client with a range of

different tasks throughout the day, both within their home and outside of it. As a Phillips1924

Homecare Services Ltd Drop-in Home Carer, you may be involved with:

● Companionship – sharing conversation and spending time together

● Personal care – assisting with bathing, dressing, and when necessary, continence

support

● Helping with mobility – some clients need assistance getting around the home

● Overseeing medication – all according to the client’s care plan

● Household chores – help around the home, such as vacuuming or washing clothes

● Preparing and cooking meals

● Running errands – assisting with tasks such as shopping or picking up prescriptions

● Other medical support – extra training is provided for more complex support needs

as well as first aid training

Wood areas which we have a view to expand further across London and beyond.

Just as each of our clients and their situations are unique, so too are each of the Drop-in

Care placements and what you’ll be required to do. Some of our clients have complex care

needs that require a high amount of support, whereas others may be living with age-related

frailties that mean they want someone to help more with their housework and accessing the

local community.

What do I need to be a Drop-in Home Carer?

To work as a Drop-in Home Carer the most important qualities are kindness and patience.

Whilst experience is always valued and previous caring experience is useful when taking on

the role of a Live-in Home Carer, it is not essential. We provide all the skills and knowledge

you need and ongoing support every step of the way

Drop-in Home Carer Job Description

How long do placements last?

Drop-in Home Care placements are flexible and built around the needs of each client,

however, you must be able to commit to a minimum of three months per client, and be willing

to give four weeks notice when requesting annual leave in order for us to work this around

the business needs. This also allows continuity for our clients, and enables you to build a

relationship with every client you care for.

The Package:

- Basic wage: to be determined and discussed at the interview stage

Please note: A full driving licence is not a mandatory requirement needed for this role,

please note Phillips1924 Homecare Services Ltd do not reimburse any public transport or

personal travel costs to and from your home to your clients home. Christmas day travel only is arranged by the company.

This placement will be based in Muswell Hill.

The hours will be Monday-Friday 9am -5pm and then 9:30pm-10:30pm to help the service user to bed.

Salary: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
