Morning shift with variable start times
Key responsibilities
Assist delivery driver in loading and unloading vehicles following Health & Safety requirements.
Assist in ensuring delivery items are correctly secured before commencing delivery.
Assist in keeping the vehicles clean and tidy.
Assist in managing delivery paperwork.
Assist in liaising with the customer to agree pre-delivery site visits as required.
Assist in liaising with the customer to ensure goods are placed in the correct area.
Assist in installation of equipment as required following manufacturer’s instructions.
Assist in carrying out minor repairs and part replacements as required by the company, return and quarantine faulty parts.
Ensure personal presentation standards meet company guidelines and courtesy is always shown to customers.
Maintain ‘good housekeeping’ standards, ensuring tidiness, safety and good working practices are adhered to, in order to meet statutory health and safety requirements.
Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are always understood and practiced by the team.
Identifying, addressing and report safety hazards within the work area.
Assisting in keeping work area clean and organized.
Report any errors in product or quantity to the fulfilment management team immediately.
Support and work in the departments as required.
Ensure that Standard Work and ensuring quality processes are followed to ensure a "Right First Time" product to the customer.
Ensure that to maintain an adequate follow of work to ensure balance of processes.
Achieve individual Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as agreed in 1-2-1 to ensure team and Company KPIs are achieved.
Make up standard kits and assemblies to meet all customer and operational requirements.
Act in a way that embraces the core values of the company.
Assist with other duties, as necessary, to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department this will include Goods In, Picking and Packing.
Flexibility on start time destination dependant .
