Job description

TSH Services is a small family run business which supplies potatoes to local restaurants. We are looking to hire a Drivers Mate/Van Driver to help develop and maintain our business.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering potatoes to foodservice establishments in a safe and friendly manner.

• Manually lifting potatoes (25kg sacks).

• Providing excellent customer service standards to every customer.

• Assisting the driver whilst out on deliveries.

• Completing invoices and collecting payments where necessary.

• Assisting the driver in loading and unloading and any other work that needs carrying out including keeping the vehicle clean and tidy.

• Completing deliveries on your own in a van where necessary.

• Following designated routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.

• Helping complete any tasks back at the yard.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Full, clean driving licence.

• Experience of van driving preferable but not essential.

• Experience of dealing with customers preferable.

• Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Driving: 1 year (preferred)

• Driving Licence (preferred)
