Requirements

• Possession of a valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points
• Reside within the Coventry area, as you will be the designated office-to-site driver for all team members
• Holding a CSCS card is mandatory

Job Details

• Experience in the solar industry is preferred but, a willingness to learn, to gain knowledge and develop skills to become an experience Solar Installer is necessary.
• Assemble, install, or maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs or other structures in compliance with site assessment and schematics. May include measuring, cutting, assembling, and bolting structural framing and solar modules. May perform minor electrical work.
• Layout assembly and installation of solar array and mounting hardware
• Assist with the electrical wiring of energy products
• Lifting, loading/unloading, and moving solar panels and other materials from loading areas to the installation location on roofs and any other tasks that are required.
• Provide exceptional customer experience throughout the process
• Clean and clear site before, during and after work leaving the site clean and tidy, remove waste from site and dispose of it correctly following agreed procedures.

• Ability to work in environments such as heat, cold, small spaces
• Ability to safely manage tools and materials such as ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries
• Ability to work at heights
• Ability to perform physically demanding duties, including lifting (up to 50lbs.), bending and standing for extended periods of time
• Diligence and a commitment to delivering the highest quality service to the customer
• An interest in renewable energy and pursuing a career in this growing sector is also a distinct advantage
• Be willing to work away from home during the week

Employment Package

• Pay based on age/experience (from £12.50 an hour)
• Normal working pattern Monday to Friday but weekend work may occasionally be required
• Working away from home and overnight stays will be required depending on location of work
• 28 Days Holiday (Inclusive of Bank Holidays)
• Work based pension provided when applicable
• Work Available: Full time, Part time, Contract, Daily

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £12.50 per hour
