Job description
DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
FIXED TERM CONTRACT TILL 24 DECEMBER 2023
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Work shift patterns will be Am Week 1, Tuesday to Saturday, Week 2 Monday to Friday and Night Driver will be Week 1 - Sunday to Thursday, Week 2 Monday to Friday
- This role is a mix of store deliveries in central London, Trunking to depots and transporting containers to ports in Felixstowe, Southampton & London Gateway
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- You will Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- 1 year minimum experience of driving HGV Class 1 Vehicle
