Job description
Rapidly expanding company requires hard working, dedicated and intelligent people to undertake camera installation and driving work throughout Scotland, England and Ireland. As and When Required.
In the As and When required role we are looking for candidates who we can reliably call upon when needed therefore hours worked will vary, you may be required 5 days one week and only 1 day the next week it would be totally dependent on workload. Sometimes it may be travelling only sometimes helping with cameras. Due to the last minute nature of the industry we require people we can rely on and are readily available to help out. We understand this type of position is not for everyone and expect candidates to use this potion as an added job which is absolutely fine, once we get to know our candidates we can try and suit working hours to your needs.
The position would be suited to people who are comfortable driving long distances and working outdoors and at low heights. You would be provided tax free expenses for each overnight stay. All travel (including the provision of rental vehicles) subsistence and any accommodation are paid for.
Work schedules for the successful candidates will require early starts and late finishes. Weekend work will also be required.
No previous experience in the industry is required but the job involves working at low heights on ladders to attached and turn on the equipment which is generally placed on lighting columns. All necessary training will be provided. Each Thursday you will be provided a Work Instruction for the following week this can change slightly but is there to let you prepare for the following week.
The typical working day would include -
- Making your way to the office when you have been told your equipment is ready.
- Loading your van ensuring you have all your equipment and tools to do the job and any personal belongings for staying away if that's required.
- Travelling to your location to install the equipment (location will be provided on a tablet and sat-navs will be provided)
- Once equipment is installed depending on distance you will either return to the office to drop the van off or you will head to your hotel.
Our cameras are for temporary use generally on the lighting columns for anything from 1 to 5 days. Therefore as well as installing we also take down the equipment.

Rate of pay is £10.10 per hour for each hour worked and is paid on 28th of each month along with all expenses where a receipt is provided.
