Job description
We are recruiting for a permanent Multi-drop Van Driver / Warehouse Operative.
The success of our business is thanks to the level of our drivers exceptional customer service skills, and outstanding driving capabilities, supported behind the scenes by our committed and hard working warehouse operatives.
This role is predominantly a driving role, however there will be the requirement to support the warehouse duties as and when required. Your main responsibilities for this role are:
Multi-drop delivery and collection of tyres to customer sites
Loading and unloading of tyres from vehicles
Moving tyre stock around the warehouse as and when required.
We are looking for the following Personal attributes:
- A valid full UK driving license (no more than 6 points)
- Have a good level of driving experience - ideally with a 3.5T van, but not essential.
- Understand the importance of and be enthusiastic about delivering excellent Service to our customers.
- You will be motivated to get the job done and have the ability to work well under pressure.
- Being a strong team player you will join our team of dedicated staff to deliver high standards throughout this role.
In return we are delighted to offer:
- Salary starting at £10.50 per hour. Performance depending this will be reviewed during and / or after the first 6 months of employment.
- 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, Saturday mornings covered on a rota basis, paid as overtime at premium rate.
