Responsibilities for the job role:
- Operate within plant machinery operational limitations
- Understand and be able to identify non-permitted waste including hazardous waste
- Ensure liquid spills after refuelling are cleaned up correctly in line with standard operational procedures
- Operate machinery in such a fashion that reduce dust emissions
- Ensure the work is carried out within the deadlines, safely and efficiently, and to relay information accurately to the Site Supervisor.
- Undertake vehicle checks and routine maintenance as detailed in standard operating procedures and record information
- Carry out best practice and safe working practices
