Job Description: - Warehouse/FLT Operative
Department: - Stores / Logistics
Reporting line: - Team Leader/Operations Manager
MUST HAVE BOTH VALID REACH AND COUNTERBALANCE LICENSES (NOT IN-HOUSE)
Overall purpose and aims of role:-
- Ensure all vehicles are loaded/unloaded in a timely and safe manner.
- Ensure all stock is picked accurately and verified against daily schedules.
- Ensure stock is accuracy is maintained.
- Adherence to Health and Safety legislation
- Ensure all products are booked into stock accurately and timely.
- Ensure that a good standard of housekeeping is kept.
Main duties and areas of responsibility: -
Warehouse
- Unloading and checking of incoming goods
- Booking into stock of production and raw materials
- Picking and verifying of daily deliveries
- Loading of delivery vehicles
- Relocation and checking of stock.
- General Housekeeping duties
- Stock management – Scanners and Desktop PC
Health and Safety
- Completion of daily FLT checks
- Completion of daily vehicle checks when required.
- Adherence to Health and Safety procedures
- Stock on pallets located into rack management system safely.
- Completion of Daily Rack checks
Performance
- Picking/labelling discrepancies kept to a minimum
- All paperwork to be completed accurately
- Achieve all daily targets to Internal / External customers
- Stock accuracy of 100 %
- Stock FIFO and preservation
Skills and attributes required: -
- Previous Warehouse / Stores experience
- Reach and Counterbalance licenses.
- Computer/Scanner System Literacy – Stores Management Systems
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.

Days 06:00 - 14:00
Backs 14:00 - 22:00
Nights 22:00 - 06:00
Rates of Pay:-
£10.70 p/h for day and back shifts. Additional .50p p/h for night shift.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.70-£11.20 per hour
