Position Summary:
The Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas of the facility to maintain a clean and safe working environment. This position will also assist in the loading, unloading, and storage of materials and equipment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Cleans assigned areas of facility (vacuum, mop, scrubber, trashcan, etc.)
- Assists in loading, unloading, and storage of materials and equipment.
- Ensures that all equipment is in good working order.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
- Repairs damaged or dirty equipment as needed.
- Uses proper safety standards and procedures as set forth by company or regulatory agency.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
- Strict adherence to all OSHA regulations and policies.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Follows all company policies and procedures; understands all aspects of job requirements and requirements of each department; follows written and oral instructions; uses time efficiently; maintains positive attitude; works under pressure; maintains quality standards; keeps work area clean; performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in cleaning / warehouse / manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (including physical): Drug Test, background check and verification (if necessary)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. from ground to overhead height.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm
Part-time hours: 0-40 per week
Salary: From £12.00 per hour
