Job description

We are looking for Driver/Warehouse Operatives for our client based in Marsh Barton.

General working hours are Monday to Friday 0830-1730, but shift times may vary. You will also be required to work a 4-hour shift every other Saturday.

Pay is £10.97 per hour which is paid on a weekly basis.

For these Driver/Warehouse Operative roles a driving license with no more than 6 point (speed related) is essential.

Other duties will include:

• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes
• Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher
• Unload goods as per client instructions
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer
• Picking customer orders, loading vans and making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly
• Oversee the dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries
• Checking and putting away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock
• Assist with a rolling stock taking program, ensuring all stock is located correctly at all times
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment
