Job description
- Duties:
- Safely operate a roll-off truck, dump truck, or other heavy equipment as needed
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for pick-up and delivery
- Load and unload materials or equipment using forklift or other appropriate methods
- Ensure proper securing and handling of materials during transportation
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in route driving or delivery driver role preferred
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of routes
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as required
- Good communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
