Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide top-quality customer service to all passengers, clients, authorities, suppliers, coworkers and management
• Knowledge of Canadian and US geography and the ability to navigate their major cities
• Must be compliant with the National Safety Code, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations at all times, including US DOT drug testing requirements
• Must be compliant with Highway Traffic Act at all times
• Must be familiar with and compliant with the Hours of Service Regulations in Canada and the US
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections on assigned commercial vehicle
• Plan and organize routing as per dispatch instructions and/or customer itinerary
• Drive in a safe and courteous manner
• Keep coach clean and customer ready
• Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Physically able to load and unload passenger luggage
• Assist with boarding and disembarking passengers

Requirements

• A customer service oriented approach and a positive attitude
• Ontario Drivers Class "B" (prefered) or "C" with "Z" air brake endorsement
• Eligible to work and drive commercial vehicles in Canada and the US
• Comfortable with email and have the ability to learn new software systems.
• Strong attention to detail and follow through
• Must be available for all shifts as scheduled
• Shifts may include working nights, weekends and statutory holidays
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to receive, send, process and print emails.
• Own a cellular telephone capable of conducting call in Canada and the US
• Able to thrive in a fast paced, minimally supervised, flexible and changing environment
• Possess a valid passport and US VISA (if required for crossing the border)
• Candidate subject to Vulnerable Sector Screening

All coaches are equipped with passenger reclining chairs, air-conditioning, DVD, video system , flat TV, P/A system, washroom, overhead and luggage compartment, and a washroom for the best comfort and convenience to all riders.

Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Salary: $180.00-$250.00 per day
