Mercedes-Benz Truck & Van (NI) Mallusk are currently recruiting for the following position:

LOGISTICS DRIVER (HGV Class 1 required)

(Mallusk)

We require HGV Class 1 Driver to join our Mercedes-Benz Truck & Van Logistics team, you will play a vital role within the business.

Main duties:

• This role involves the movement of a variety of Mercedes- Benz vehicles throughout our customer base in Northern Ireland.
• Presenting vehicles for MOT to the local test centres
• To carry out daily safety checks in line with vehicle maintenance and legislation
• Moving and organising of vehicles within the dealership yard

Rate of pay:

£12.00 per hour

Hours of work: (39 hours)

• Full-time contracted hours are Monday – Thursday 8:30–16:45 and Friday 08:30 – 17:00
• Saturday overtime is on a rotational basis

Essential Criteria:

• A valid HGV Class 1 Licence (C + E)
• Confident driver with experience of driving a wide variety of commercial vehicles
• Good geographical knowledge of NI
• A strong customer service focus with the ability to be an ambassador for the Mercedes-Benz Truck & Van products and services
• An excellent standard of presentation with a courteous and pleasant nature

Desirable:

• Class D licence
