Class A Route Driver Needed (Home Daily)
Job Description:
We are looking to hire a qualified Class A Route Driver to oversee the daily collection of waste tires.
This position is responsible for the collection of used tires from customer facilities and for the transportation of the tires back to Lakin Tire's warehouse facility or drop yard. In addition to the tire collections, the driver also functions as the main point of customer interaction and records all transactions in accordance with company standards.
Lakin Tire Route Drivers are responsible for driving to and from our customer locations and collecting tires with the assistance of a Route Helper.
The job is physically demanding, and we are looking for dedicated individuals who do not mind getting their hands dirty.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, occasional Saturday and Holiday work
- Shifts range from 8-12 hours
- 40 hours per week, overtime is required
- MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
Experience:
- Drivers must have a valid Class A Driver’s License
- Clean DMV record (less than 2 points, no moving violations or accidents in the past 2 years, no DUI's in the past 3 years)
- Minimum 3 months Class A driving experience
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Must have common working knowledge of DOT regulations
- Must be physically capable of loading tires, lacing tires, and lifting 50-75 lbs.
- Doubles endorsements is a plus.
- If requested must be flexible with work schedule (willing to work night shift and Saturdays)
