Job Description
Casual Drivers are responsible for driving our vehicles to and from designated locations in a safe and timely manner. You will be representing Summit Fleet and will be expected to dress and behave professionally.
- Casual, part-time, on-call
- If you are unavailable to work when we call, you may simply decline
- Hours are mostly Monday to Friday
- Average monthly hours: 5 to 20
Role & Responsibilities
- Efficient and safe vehicle deliveries will be your top priority.
- Transport vehicles to client’s working sites safely and efficiently
- Ensure vehicles are prepped to company standards for client use
- Effective communication with staff on vehicle damage/issues
- Internal branch to branch vehicle transfers
- Document trips, including hours and fuel logs
- Inspect vehicles before leaving location
Requirements
We need the right personality for the job, someone who is courteous, uses good judgement and safe driving skills while transporting vehicles.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract
- Previous experience with vehicle transport is an asset
- Reliable and professional at all times
- Flexible availability
- Team player
- Must have a valid personal email address for employee onboarding
- Banking information is required for payroll
