We are the designer and manufacturer of what we believe is the best performing product in its category. We pride ourselves in prioritizing product quality and customer service with an on-going R&D and innovation program. As part of our on-going growth, we are now looking to expand our transport team and have vacancies for experienced Van and 7.5 Tonne truck drivers for nationwide distribution of our products.
Reporting to the Transport Manger at our Manufacturing Depot, your role will be to transport our goods nationwide ensuring that all deliveries arrive on time, in full and all deliveries are completed with due care and attention, ensuring Icotherm is represented well at all times. The successful applicant should also be reliable, self-motivated individual who can demonstrate excellent time keeping and communications skills and have a proven work history in Driving.
What we require:
Clean current C1 driving licence.
Current DCPC and DIGI Card.
Minimum 2 years 7.5tonne driving experience.
Safety compliant with a focus on great customer service.
Reliable and punctual.
The day to day responsibilities of the Driver are:
Carry out pre use checks on vehicles daily, document and report any issues..
Assist with loader, the correct loading and securing of products on your vehicle, ensuring the correct goods are loaded against customer order (manual Handling will be required).
Drive the vehicle safely, and in accordance with law.
Obey all tachograph and driver’s hours rules and regulations.
Report all accidents and incidents, immediately following the company’s reporting procedures.
Assist with unloading customer goods at delivery point ensuring all goods are unloaded (Manual Handling will be required).
Check goods off with customer ensuring all goods are signed for, ensuring signature, printed name, dated and timed.
Provide excellent customer service.
Ensure vehicles are clean and presentable, to company standards at all times.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, to include performance and Safety Policy.
Hourly pay:
Starting £11/h and rising to £12/h after a satisfactory 6 month probation period. Paid Monthly.
Hours of work:
Monday - Friday shift pattern with fixed start times between 6am and 7.30am. Occasional nights out may be required.
