Short Description
Our Port Coquitlam team is looking for an Equipment Coordinator/General Delivery Driver of our Freightliner M2 Rollback and F350. This position is designed to maintain the yard while delivering and recovering equipment at the customer site. You will be responsible to haul, load and unload of rental equipment and supplies as needed. This position is Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm with overtime opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Rental equipment delivery and pickup.
- Loading and unloading of rental equipment
- Assisting customers in the yard
- Status verification of equipment on the yard
- Stage equipment for delivery
- Stage equipment for maintenance and repair activity
- Ability to diagnose and repair small tools.
- Review reservation reports to ensure the correct equipment is ready to rent
- Wash and light maintenance of equipment, function checks of equipment prior to the next rental
- Equipment quality inspections
- Maintain organization on the yard
- Ability to deal with customers as required
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Prior training and/or experience with Aerial Lift Equipment, Bobcats & Skidsteers
- Knowledge of local roadways and the ability to effectively use maps and directions for efficient delivery routing
- Possess prior experience in safe operation of heavy construction machinery within rental industry, and working understanding of load securement and transport
Educational Background
