Driver Coordinator - Belfast Castlereagh
Working Hours: Average of 44 per week, Monday to Friday between 8am - 6pm and alternate Saturdays between 8am - 4pm
A day in the life of a Driver Co-ordinator
As an experienced Driver Co-ordinator for LKQ Euro Car Parts you are responsible for providing an efficient and effective delivery proposition along with, recruiting, coaching and developing a team of drivers. You are tasked with being responsible for ensuring all customer deliveries are processed, dispatched and meet the customer service level agreements(SLA)in place for each account. You will have the ability to influence and promote Health and Safety, best practice and be an ambassador of branch operational standards that link directly to our company values. You will be a member of the management team reporting into the Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the efficient route planning of the delivery vehicles and ensure that stock is moved efficiently and safely
- Build relationships with internal customers to determine their requirements, manage expectations and achieve our service level agreements
- Live and breathe excellent customer service and support and coach our Drivers to do the same
- Ensure all business Health and Safety measures are followed and report on all accidents and near misses
- Motivate, lead and develop the team to excel in their current role and understand and support their aspirations
- Improve returns, credits and warranty processes thereby enhancing the customer experience
- Control and monitor costs, such as driver overtime, absence etc.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in a similar role
- Ability to lead, motivate and supervise a team of Drivers
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a high pressure and fast-paced environment

- Current valid Driving Licence
