EQUANS are looking for a Driver / Labourer to join our team in Middlesborough, and working across locations in the North East on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
General Overview
The main purpose of the role is to ensure materials are available for programmed works and delivered to individual property addresses. Assist the Site team with day to day running of the project. To carry out the duties as a labourer in accordance with Statutory Regulations, Company Policies and Procedures. To understand, implement and adhere to Keepmoat SHEQ requirements, policy and strategy.
Key Accountabilities
Assist tradesman as directed in carrying out their day to day duties
Ensuring that the site is kept clean and tidy at all times
Load and unload deliveries
Undertake all work to a high standard with minimal risk to Health and Safety
To work with others and provide a courteous and considerate service to members of the public
Complete and maintain accurate records and paperwork where necessary
To wear appropriate clothing and PPE
Be responsible for your own safety and all other around you
Make every effort to attend mandatory courses relevant to your role
To maintain and care for all company tools
To attend all relevant training courses, including all health and safety courses arranged by the employer.
To work in accordance with any training and instructions given and bring to the attention of the Employer any shortcomings and defects in the management systems and protective measures
To order and take delivery of materials ready for programmed works
Keep records of COSSH safety data sheets in relation to materials ordered / stored
Ensure materials are stored correctly and safely
Keep stores floor area clean to reduce the risk of slips, trips or falls
Deliver materials to individual addresses as directed
Any other reasonable management request

Current and Valid Full & Clean UK driving license

Experience
Previous experience working in the Construction industry
Up to date relevant industry related knowledge
Up to date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
