Job description
A counterbalance FLT driver is required for a powder coaters in Great Barr, Birmingham.
Must have experience on Gas Bottle Forklift, The role includes, but is not limited to;
- Line feeding production tracks
- Storage of finished goods in the warehouse
- Preparation of outbound customer loads
- Location of empty finished goods racks
- Loading/unloading HGV and tipper trucks
- Yard, track and warehouse maintenance and cleanliness
- Unloading and storage of raw materials
- FIFO
Key qualities for the role;
- Must be able to work under own initiative and at a safe but effective speed
- Must be able to take instruction and follow it through accurately
- Confident in lifting and moving loads of varying sizes and weights
- Must have good team ethic
- Helpful and willing to go the extra mile when needed
- Punctual and reliable
- Available for regular overtime
The core hours of work for this role are;
7:30am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday
Evening overtime is often required, normally until 6pm, and weekend overtime is also regularly available.
