Eden Court is a new Care Village situated in Battersea, London SW11.

We are looking to appoint a driver to work in conjunction with the activities and care team. You will work alongside them to organise and facilitate transport schedules driving our mini-bus that meets the needs of the residents within the Village including both scheduled and on-demand transport.

Duties will include:

• Collect and deliver items of equipment and stores to and from the Village, as required, using the Company vehicles.
• Carry out scheduled checks on all company vehicles, recording checks on appropriate documentation.
• Report any vehicle defects as soon as identified and, if necessary, investigate and report findings.
• Ensure that the Company vehicle is cleaned inside and out on a weekly basis, or sooner if necessary. Arrange for the vehicle to be valeted as required.
• Ensure that all vehicles have an adequate supply of fuel in the tank, using agreed suppliers. Complete journey logs each time vehicles are used.
• Ensure vehicle security - that vehicles are locked and that alarms are activated when parking.
• Be aware of tax and MOT certificate dates; communicating with the Administrator near due dates.
• Assist the maintenance and activities team, as required, when not carrying out driving duties.

For this role it is essential you have a clean driving licence and are aged 25 and over as you will be required to drive our Mini-bus.
