We are looking to recruit a flexible, customer focussed mobile library driver to provide a front line library service to schools, acting as an ambassador for the service. This post includes assisting with routine library duties both on the vehicle and in the building.

You will need to be responsible for the safe running of the vehicle and completing daily checks, highlighting any maintenance issues where necessary.

You will need to hold a clean driving licence with class 3 HGV, a CPC training certificate and have comprehensive driving and customer service experience.

This position requires a level of fitness as lifting and carry loads up to 15kg is essential, you may also be required to cover our delivery service at busy times during the school year.

Salary is pro rata and the working pattern is Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm over 38 weeks, term time only.
