When recruiting for the position of Transfer Driver, we look for individuals who can work independently, taking into consideration journey routes and times, someone who has a can-do attitude as well as being well presented and highly organised.
This role is based at our Hessle site but will involve nationwide travel to and between our 11 retail sites and 2 preparation centres.

The Role:
It is essential that our successful candidate is extremely conscious around Health and safety and driving responsibly. You must also be able to work well in a high-volume environment. Please note to be considered for this role you must have possessed a full driving license for at least 3 years and have no more than 6 penalty points.
You will support our preparation centre and retail teams by safely delivering vehicles from our Preparation Centres to one of our 11 retail sites, you will also deliver vehicles between sites. You will take responsibility in ensuring that every vehicle delivered arrives safely, timely, at the standard it left the preparation centre and with all the necessary documents, whether this is delivering it to one of our sites or carrying out a home delivery hand over (training will be provided). When completing a home delivery there will be some occasions where you will be required to use public transport to get back to site (where there is no part exchange to bring back).
In addition, you will support in ensuring the cars on sites are customer ready which will assist in delivering/transferring them quicker as well as this, you will collect vehicles that have been purchased by our in-house buying team.
This role will include weekend work on a rota basis - 5 days a week over a 7-day rota.
