LGV Driver

Based at Millhams Recycling Centre, Bournemouth

Are you a team player with excellent customer service skills looking for a new challenge?

BCP Council is looking to recruit an LGV Driver who is flexible and willing to drive a range of vehicles.

We operate a Commercial Waste refuse, recycling, skip and bulky waste service within the local area. In addition, site work is required at both our Bournemouth and Poole recycling centres.

Working in a team, the work will involve driving refuse collection vehicles as well as opportunities to drive skip and RORO vehicles.

The full-time post is 37 hours a week working on a rota basis. It does involve some early starts, some late finishes and possibly working some weekends.

Good communication skills are essential as you will be speaking to our commercial customers and members of the public.

As a result of the creation of BCP Council in 2019, we are working on simplifying our terms and conditions of service and will be creating a single pay structure which all of our employees will move on to.
