Job description
We recruiting on behalf of a busy engineering based company based in Wolverhampton for an Forklift Counterbalance Driver
Job Role
- Working in a engineering environment
- To check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and faults/damages.
- Loading and unloading of vehicles
- Assisting with the movement of sheet metal around the factory.
- Storing items in relevant sections.
- Packing & assembly goods in boxes.
- Maintaining a clean working environment in yard and shop floor.
- Forklift truck counter balance driving
Experience/Requirements
- Previous working experience in engineering/sheet metal environment is essential
- FLT Counter balance licence is essential
- Goods in/out experience
- Good communication skills liaising with other departments.
- Ability to use own initiative and prioritise workload
- Attention to detail
- Comfortable with manual handling.
The Package
- 12 week temporary to permanent contract.
- Working rotating 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00- 22:00 Monday to Thursday, Friday 05:45 - 12:00pm, 12pm - 18:00
- £11.09 per hour- which will be reviewed after the probation period
- On site parking.
- Opportunity to progress within an established company.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 weeks
Salary: From £11.09 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Licence/Certification:
- FLT Counterbalance licence (preferred)
