We recruiting on behalf of a busy engineering based company based in Wolverhampton for an Forklift Counterbalance Driver

Job Role

• Working in a engineering environment
• To check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and faults/damages.
• Loading and unloading of vehicles
• Assisting with the movement of sheet metal around the factory.
• Storing items in relevant sections.
• Packing & assembly goods in boxes.
• Maintaining a clean working environment in yard and shop floor.
• Forklift truck counter balance driving

Experience/Requirements

• Previous working experience in engineering/sheet metal environment is essential
• FLT Counter balance licence is essential
• Goods in/out experience
• Good communication skills liaising with other departments.
• Ability to use own initiative and prioritise workload
• Attention to detail
• Comfortable with manual handling.

The Package

• 12 week temporary to permanent contract.
• Working rotating 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00- 22:00 Monday to Thursday, Friday 05:45 - 12:00pm, 12pm - 18:00
• £11.09 per hour- which will be reviewed after the probation period
• On site parking.
• Opportunity to progress within an established company.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 weeks

Salary: From £11.09 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

• FLT Counterbalance licence (preferred)
