Job description

We are currently seeking a reliable chauffeur to work for a Russian family residing in Kensington, starting from September.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a Mercedes-Benz V Class and providing transportation services to the family, with a primary focus on safely transporting the family's two young children to school and various activities. Additionally, the chauffeur will be expected to run errands to cover the family's needs.

Job Details:

Schedule: Monday to Friday, not exceeding 48 hours per week.
The working day starts with a school ride, picking up the children at approximately 7:50 AM.
There are currently two other drivers employed by the family, both Lithuanian and Russian-speaking. The preferred candidate for this vacancy should also speak Russian and have a good knowledge of English to effectively communicate while servicing the car and performing errands.

Other duties include driving the principal and family members to various destinations across the UK, helping passengers enter and exit the car, using local knowledge to navigate traffic efficiently, and making minor car repairs and adjustments.

The chauffeur will be expected to maintain the car's cleanliness and readiness for use, carry out errands such as shopping and deliveries, and liaise with the car dealership to ensure insurance and MOTs are up to date. Route planning and efficient time management will be essential for smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Valid UK driving license and clean driving record.
• Russian with good knowledge of English.
• Prior experience in chauffeuring for a private family with children
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of local streets, traffic patterns, and city navigation.
• Ability to handle responsibilities with discretion, confidentiality, and respect for privacy.

Employment Terms: The chauffeur is suggested to work as a self-employed individual. During working hours, the chauffeur will have the option to park his personal car in the garage if needed.

Salary: £42,000.00-£46,000.00 per year
