Job description
A2B Staffing are urgently seeking experienced Car multidrop drivers or our nationwide logistics client based in several areas to start immediately.
All successful applicants MUST have their own vehicle.
Drivers required in the following areas
- Wednesbury
- Blackheath
- Kingsnorton
- Erdington
- Kingswinford
- Worcester
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading logistics business who are experts in their field.
All drivers must be flexible as start times vary but also you may be required to work out of other sites in the Black Country / Birmingham area.
Hours: Monday - Friday and also Weekends Saturday Sunday available
Start time: average start time of 9am - 11:30am
Approx finish time: 3pm - 6pm (Depending on how many parcels assigned that day)
Pay rate: Approx £70 - £140 daily (Parcel rate depending on how many parcels assigned that day)
Duties of the role:
- Delivering high end goods and small parcels (no more than 5KG) for blue chip fashion businesses and household named businesses - average of 70-140 drops daily in same postcode areas - no need to return to site if all parcels delivered you can go home!
- Drivers to have average speed of 20 parcels an hour
- Routes available 5-7 days a week (7 days a week operation)
- Multidrop delivery 20-30 miles daily
- Reporting your KPI each day (paperwork delivery) at end of day to logistics office
- Usage of transport app to scan parcels, proof of delivery and route deliveries
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Experience of a Multidrop position and be capable of 70 - 140 drops (max 7hrs)
- All drivers MUST have their own vehicle
- No more than 6 points on license with no DR10 IN10 accepted due to insurances
- Min 2 year commercial driving experience
- Health and safety awareness
- Excellent timekeeping and good communication skills
