About us
West Wales Waste is a drainage and wet waste specialist based in Pembrokeshire. Due to organic growth we require 2x drainage operatives based in Swansea.
Position Overview
Working with the West Wales Waste team assisting with all aspects of drainage works including investigation, blockage clearance and repair on a variety of different properties across Swansea and West Wales. The role will consist of planned and reactive drainage tasks to both commercial and domestic buildings.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the drainage industry however this is not essential as full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- The range of services including cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customer’s drains.
- Carry out all works diligently and safely.
- Take instruction from Supervisor.
- Reporting near misses and accidents as soon as possible.
Position Requirements
- Enthusiastic, driven and customer facing.
- Able to work as part of a team and on your own.
- Excellent time keeping and organisational skills.
- Eager to learn new skills and develop career.
Additional Information
- Salary dependent on experience.
- Must be available to work evening and nights including weekends as part of a call out rota.
- Paid overtime.
- 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays.
- Company van, uniform and tools will be supplied.
- A DBS disclosure will be requested in the event of a successful application.
