Job description
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of products
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and ensure all necessary documentation is complete
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and operating equipment
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles preferred
- Proven ability to operate delivery vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
- Knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
Note: Experience as a courier or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
