Delivery Driver
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries
- Load and unload goods using manual transmission, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment as necessary
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and ensure proper documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods in a friendly and professional manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
- Report any vehicle maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps to locate delivery destinations
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Note: Experience with tractor-trailers, couriers, or warehouse operations is a plus.
