Job description
We are looking to employ a Door Supervisor to ensure that our client receives a consistent and excellent level of care. Your main responsibility will be to assist the venue management team in ensuring that the premises is complying with the licensing requirements.
- Self Employed Contract
- Required to work late Nights.
- Licensed Venue.
- Carry out routine patrols around the venue.
- Eject non-compliant visitors at venue.
- To ensure that incidents are reported and recorded as and when they occur.
- Greet customers entering or leaving the venue in a warm and friendly manner.
- To ensure that the entry numbers are controlled, keeping an accurate count and managing the flow of entry.
- To aid customers in distress and where applicable administering the necessary first aid.
- To monitor any customer behavior, addressing when necessary to maintain a safe, pleasant and non-threatening environment.
- To pay strict attention to health & safety issues/dangerous occurrences to minimise the risk in potentially dangerous areas e.g stairs, dance floor(s) and congested areas.
- To advise and enforce where necessary the venue policies i.e Non-smoking, restricted access areas.
- Any other duties required by the venue supervisor
To be successful in the role, you’ll need the following:
- Good communication skills.
- Experience working in the licensed venue sector is required.
- Experience of working in a customer service environment.
We will need:
- Photographic proof of ID.
- Proof of right to work within the UK.
- S.I.A Door Supervisor licence. (MUST)
- Able to provide a 5-year minimum check-able history.
- First aid qualified is preferred. If you do not have, we will provide training.
- Having a Fire Certification is an advantage but not compulsory
