About The Role
Position: Door Supervisor: Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Markets
Pay Rate: £10.90 - £12.22
Location: Victoria Square
Fixed Term Contract: 16/10/2023 – 08/01/2024
We are seeking Door Supervisors to join #Team FGH in Keeping People Safe at the Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Markets.
Taking place in Victoria Square, Birmingham, between 2nd November and the 24th December, it is the worlds' largest authentic German Christmas Market outside of Germany or Austria. Frankfurt Christmas Market can trace its' history back to the year 1393.
Please note that interviews for this role will start in September.

A Security Industry Authority (SIA) Door Supervision Licence is essential for this role.
During Screening, you must be able to provide evidence of 5 year employment/education history and references in a timely manner upon request.
Regular Tasks
- Proactive and approachable customer service
- Controlling access points for all site visitors and site perimeter patrolling
- Gate management including physical body and bag searches, supporting the crowd management team in managing ticket validation and wayfinding
- Monitor and report any suspicious behaviour/take appropriate action, being vigilant and conscious of any potential threat to the safe and smooth running of the event
- Reporting and recording details of irregularities, incidents, searches, and patrols
- Responding to incidents
- Maintaining order
- Protection of assets and prevention of losses
- Collaborating with and supporting the crowd management team in their mission to ensure crowd safety plans are adhered to
