Assist Security are looking to recruit a security professional with excellent customer services and conflict management skills.

You will be working at an iconic food and drink market which is taking over London by storm with their environmentally friendly and sustainable product. The venue is one of the hottest spots in London. If you love working around different cultures and meeting new people, this is the place for you.

Main function of the role: working as part of a larger team, your job will require you to have a friendly welcoming approach, however, vigilance is key! As the venue is licence you need to be ready to intervene any unwelcoming situations as soon as it has been noticed.

Pay Rate:

£12-£14 an hour for the right employee

Shift Times:

6-10 hour shifts Monday – Sunday available

Minimum Requirements:

· At least 1 year experience in Bars and Club security

· A valid DS licence.

· Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

· Professional & Personable.

· Immaculate presentation.

· Right to Work in the UK.

· 5-Year employment / educational history.

Preferred Requirements (not essential):

· Proven experience in conflict management.

· Bilingual

· Emergency First Aid Certificate.

· ACT training Certificate.

· Conflict management training.

· Be able to use two-way radio’s

Responsibilities & Duties:

· Managing queues and entrances around the venue.

· Carrying out ID, dress code, bag checks that are in line with the venues admission policies.

· Providing a security presence for all staff, guests, and visitors – particularly in outdoor arears.

· Able to follow instructions given from the venue manager / security manager.

· Carry out toilet checks to ensure all the customers visiting the site are not abusing the blind spots.

· Conflict management skills are required to resolve any potential conflict situations that may occur.

· Training in removing customers from sites in the correct manner.

· Abel to use two-way radios as this is a large venue.

· Detect, Disrupt & Deter visitors not keeping in lune with the venues policies.

· Ensure that all matters relating to the process of information are carried out in a prompt, efficient manner in line with service and legal requirements.

· Ability to work within alone in and work under pressure.

· Be trustworthy, compassionate, and motivated to support your team and help the public.

Uniform:

· Clean pressed black suit

· Clean pressed white shirt.

· Black tie

· Clean pressed black trousers. No tracksuit / Jeans

· Clean pressed black shoes / patrol boots. No trainers

· Clean plain black coat. No large logo / bright colours

Training provided

On- going training provided by our in house training team

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
