Job description
The role of a Domiciliary Care Worker at Hertsmere Valley Care Services is varied and largely depends on the customer you’ll be working with. Everything we do is designed to help our customers live happy, independent lives. We are looking for dedicated & caring people who wish to work in social care providing care & support services to Adults, the Elderly, and People with Disabilities living in their own homes.
Duties Include:
- Washing and Dressing
- Feeding
- Toileting
- Bed Making
- Generally assisting with patients overall comfort
- Providing personal care duties
- Administering medication
- Manual handling, using equipment where required
- Promoting customer health and wellbeing, enabling them to live their life to the full
- Flexibly work a range of shift patterns including alternate weekends
- A large part of their daily lives
We currently have posts for Full-time, Part-time, Evening & Weekend Care Staff and looking for care workers who can work within the hours that our clients need your help which is generally:
Work Patterns Available:
Morning visits from 7 am - 10 am
Lunch visits 11 am - 2 pm
Teatime visits 4 pm - 6 pm
Put to bed at 7 pm - 10 pm
7 days a week 365 days a year
Experience is not essential as full training & ongoing support is provided. We offer competitive rates of pay,
