learning institutions in 15 countries.

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who want to join the team of domestic staff to provide a first-class cleaning service across the estate at the University of Sunderland.

The successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to follow instructions, work to safe working practices including COSHH and have a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities include:

  • Following a work schedule to ensure a high standard of cleaning is delivered
  • Following instructions from Team Leaders and Facilities Support Managers
  • Cleaning of fixtures and fittings within all buildings on campus.
  • Using electrical cleaning machines

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • A good level of general of education
  • A reasonable level of numeracy and literacy
  • Basic computer skills

Whilst previous experience of working in a similar role is desirable it is not essential as full training will be given therefore a desire to learn is essential.
