Salary: Up to £62,900 dependent on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Helping organisations understand their data assets, developing software systems, and the relationships between real-world entities
- Data engineering, integration and interoperability
- Data retrieval
- Data governance and master data management
- Describe document and communicate the details of entities, relationships, attributes and domains
- Have experience of relational, object-oriented, NoSQL and time-based models
- Communicate different levels of detail for conceptual, logical and physical models
- Identify data sources, data processing concepts and methods
- Evaluate, design and implement on-premise, cloud-based and hybrid data engineering solutions
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Good Knowledge of ERWin.
- Experienced in TOGAF and MODAF Standards.
Desirable
- Experience on Oracle Database.
- Interest in different emergent Data Technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to work as part of a strong technical teams.
- Strong experience of the Solution Architecture High Level Design covering all necessary data models, matrices, diagrams, controls, and architectural guidance.

The Maritime Services team:
An exciting new opportunity has opened for an experienced Domain Modeller to join the BAE Systems Maritime Services. This role will help the Digital Services Dev team based in Portsmouth (UK) although currently operating remotely.
You will be joining at an exciting time as we grow to deliver new, large scale programs to support the UK Royal Navy’s warship fleet and spread globally to deliver new solutions for the Royal Australian Navy’s Hunter Class Frigates and the Canadian Surface Combat Ships.
You will work with experienced analysts and data architects to understand the needs of the business, get involved with the design and deployment of world-class solutions that truly make a difference.
