Job description

We are looking DOG LOVERS to join our team to cover staff holidays, busy periods and staff sickness.

We are specifically looking for someone available to work during the school holidays.

This role is open to all individuals but would suit students, individuals who work from home with flexible hours, semi retired, retired, part time workers, or those with daytime hours available.

Waggin and Walkin is one of Milton Keynes most reliable and loved dog walking company. We pride ourselves on giving the personal touch to all of our customers and by leading the way in the dog walking industry.

If you meet our requirements we would love to hear from you:

  • Available to work during the school holidays.
  • Own or have access to a suitable vehicle (5 door hatch, estate, 4x4).
  • Live in Milton Keynes.
  • Experience with dogs.
  • Super reliable, very flexible, punctual and physically fit for walking.
  • Must be prepared to work in all weather conditions.
  • Happy to buddy up with one of the team or work alone.
  • Confident to walk all breeds.
  • DBS required if offered the role (we can help you with this)

You're mainly be covering and collecting doggies in the areas of: MK4, MK5, & MK8. Ideally applicants should be living within or close by to these area's to keep travelling down to a minimum.

This is casual position, the role will mainly consist of covering our current team when they are on holiday, busy periods and sickness. We will be able to give you advance notice of dates we required you to work, except on the odd occasion if staff are off sick.

Our doggies are normally walked between the hours of 9.30am & 4pm, Monday to Friday. You will be offered variable hours when needed within these times.

Over the coming months there may be the opportunity to be offered more regular set hours for the right person if this is something you would like to explore.

You will be self-employed, and will join the team as a sub-contractor. Full training, insurance, and ongoing support provided.
